Sharing your experiences of the issues you face on your estate can build solidarity and expose our reality to decision makers.

We want to share the issues faced by this network on our Tenant Voices page to show people the issues that we are dealing with in our homes and on our estates.

One voice alone may be silenced, but when we come together across our own estate and network with other estates, our voice becomes too loud to be silenced.

If you have a smart phone, then you can be part of this movement as well. Follow the simple steps below to get involved and help us make change.

  1. Think about one issue you would like to focus on. This could be a damp and mold, a broken door, anti social behaviour, a lift not working... whatever is having an impact on your home life. If there is more than one issue you would like to cover you can make more videos!

  2. Use your phone to record a video of yourself answering the question you have chosen. Here are some top tips for recording your video:

    • Hold your phone in a portrait (upright) position - if you have a stand or tripod then put your phone on that to make it more stable

    • Find a quiet space with lots of light - this could be in a well lit room or outdoors

    • Switch your phone to the front facing camera

    • Make sure your face fills the screen with a narrow border around the edge

    • Get the light source behind the camera - face the window if inside or the direction of the sun if outside

    • Keep your video short. Try to aim for a 30 second video

  1. Upload your video to Instagram or TikTok and tag us so we can share it. Our handle is @peabodytenants on both platforms.
